Details:

This is a 12 channel 1964 E.F. Johnson Messenger III model 242-143, the earliest of 3 versions CB radio and matching piggyback power supply. It has been recapped, all out of spec carbon resistors replaced, switches and controls cleaned serviced. The Johnson mic is like new with a strong 46 dB output.

I also did the factory updates at time of full restoration. The receiver sensitivity is hot at .15uV 10bB, the transmitter 3.5w carrier 11w pep modulated.
