You almost never see them come up for sale, and especially not in this condition. Got a great deal on your new harvester project, but the guy who owned it before you butchered dash to drop in detachable face cassette player. No worries.

This is actually a very rare radio. These Conrad marks triangle-in-a-circle symbols at 640 and 1240 khz were required on all car radios sold in the USA for 1953 through 1963 model years, you'll sometimes even see them vehicles made 1964 or later.

I do not know if it works as have no way to test. Fun fact: from 1953 through 1963, car radios had nuclear attack warning stations marked on their dials. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't though. Heres a beautiful oem Motorola am radio from 1963 c1100 truck, but should be correct for '61-'68 scout 80 and travelall as well.
