They have only some minor scratching but no damage. The box is a bit roughed up in spots but not too bad. This is a very nice pair of vintage Sennheiser hd 420SL dynamic headphones with the original box and manuals. The manuals are in great condition with only minor marks and bends.

The cable is in great condition and has detachable 1/4 inch. Overall a very cool piece in exceptional condition great for vintage collection. One thing that is super cool the cable can be used on audio technical at-705 electorate adapter to make these or any other Sennheiser with this type of compatible adapter, almost making them into headphones. I recently added brand new padding under the fabric ear pad covers.

The headphones are in exceptional condition with little to no signs of use.
