It is a low profile, heavy for its size receiver.

I will try to answer them as soon possible. I have tried to show with pictures and tell all about this item in writing ,to the best of my ability. I used a pair of Bose 401 speakers for auditioning the sound.

I deal almost exclusively in vintage, previously used items. Please look at all my pictures, and read of condition , to get an accurate idea the physical this Hitachi receiver, before buying or buying.

I would say that the controls do well with a exit cleaning this unit has very good fm tuner, but am will not set to specific stations. Styled with clean lines, it sports a hide way lower panel, housing some of the controls.

I tested all the buttons and ports, using a turntable in phono CD player both aux tape headphones. No global shipping at this time. The section drove Bose well, with no extraneous noises from tuner or sections.

The rosewood metal grill surround is also virtually free of defects. Made before CD players, and without surround sound features, this unit was built specifically to listen all styles of old school music. This is a in the continental 48 USA states only. All lights work, the balance control is a little scratchy.

Hitachi made pretty solid stuff back in the day. It has a very nice brushed silver face, with no rub wear to the lettering. Unless I have stated that this particular item is new, mint or untouched by time and aging please assume may some signs of age.
