The first two photos I show is from an identical pair that did open and test. The box is original. The soviets made a number of orthodynamic also called, planar, aeroplane, or aerodynamic headphones, several which appear to have derived their design from Yamaha headphones at time, particularly yh1 headphone.

These Echo N16-40S headphones were one of two model's the 16 headphones, other being made in Kiev and looking very different. These are new old stock nos, and I haven't opened them. These were probably among the most popular audiophile headphones made in soviet union, and are often considered to be superior Yamaha's, mainly because of better damping. No case or stand included.
