The heavy-duty die-cast aluminum base and anti-resonance feet work together to minimize vibrations and provide a stable listening platform. The P-30 also comes with a dust cover to protect your turntable and records when not in use.

I matched it up with an over-performing for the cost grad cartridge selling in another listing and got just what was looking. Some of the pictures seem to show a line or mark in dust cover.
Yamaha P-30 natural sound turntable made in japan. This is a time capsule piece. Nicely balanced smooth sound with solid bass extension.
Unfortunately, I didn't really have a chance to use it. Belt drive fully automatic turntable in pristine condition including the original box.
The P-30 fit bill. I put on a new belt and it works just like the day bought. I purchased this back in 1998 when was working at a Yamaha dealer. These are only reflections.
Essentially a nos turntable. See the last pic rpm speeds.
The turntable comes with adaptor puck to play singles and original audio cable. When I did finally open it up again, found that still looked like new but the drive belt had lost its elasticity no surprise.
Of course I had to test it out so played an album side and took in the sweet sound analog vinyl. Before that was completed I ended up moving and my new house didn't have a good place to set-up the second system, so turntable as well some other components sat in its box, untouched for many years. Clear and reflective.
The dust cover is in excellent condition. I already had a high-end yam PX-3 but wanted really good sounding turntable for second system without breaking the bank.
