Details:

Due to the age of unit it has developed a vintage odor. I have not connected any other components.e. Very good condition rare vintage 1970s Sylvania model RS 5740 stereo receiver. Unit has been tested and is working.

Clean inside and out. Tuner works well. The smell is not overwhelming but it present. Unit needs some airing out and deodorizing.

The unit base is Masonite and the cabinet particle board. Turntable, tape player etc. On a scale of 1 to 10 being intolerable I would rate the smell 3 or 4. Please see photos and feel free to reach out with any questions.
