I turned it off, and let be. It would be a beautiful machine to set on my bench, but I don't have the time fix. No major scratches or dents on scope. The transformer was hot enough to scorch chassis see pictures.

Very good appearance. I don't know what the problem is, but there certainly is one. I turned scope on and got a nice sine wave, but smelled heat. I bought it as-is to use.

Box has flaked paint, but no dents. If you do, or can take your measurements in a few seconds, heres nice example of vintage American electronics for.
