The styling of this whole era Hallicrafters radio sis unmistakable. This is a very nice example of the Hallicrafters SR-150mobile transceiver. The front panel is perfect with no scratches at all. Other than blowing it out with air and the usual dictatorship on band switch pots, nothing more was needed to bring this beautiful radio back life full output after a long hiatus.
The condition of case is very good with some small chips along edges. The receiver is very sensitive to ear and transmit audio was deemed excellent. The back of the chassis has partial warranty card still attached and is as clean the interior.
It does require a separate power supply, the ps150-120 ac supply which is commonly available on offer site and of course microphone. The pictures tell story. The SR-150 was a premium transceiver made by Hallicrafters in 60s and original selling price reflected that.
The chassis is immaculate and there not a hint of corrosion. Does that to my for some reason. Sorry for the running together of some words. It has quality construction throughout.
