This is a solid-state receiver employing dual-gate mos-feat front end. Has built-in speaker and headphone output. Includes a new 're-issue' copy of the manual. It is a 4-band receiver covering 550 khz to 30 MHz.

It is very sensitive and has good selectivity. This is a Heathkit short wave receiver model sw nice for beginner but also has excellent specifications. Unit is very clean and has no user modifications or added holes.

It has a bf circuit, band spread control, am or cw operation, with an automatic noise limiter anal.
